Age 88, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on May 10, 2017. She was born on September 19, 1928. She retired from J&H Marsh & McLennan, Inc. She was predeceased by brothers Joji and Tatsuji "Tachi" Yamamoto and sister Doris Shimada. She is survived by sister Patsy Gomez, sister-in-law June Yamamoto, nephew and caregivers Keith and Sharlene Shimada, and many nieces and nephews. Private services held.

He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, Visitacion "Bessie" Catao Kawakami; sons, Wendell (Patricia) and Davin (Mary Ann); daughters, Diane Kawakami (companion, Angel Noda), Mitzi Miyashiro and Sharolyn Kawakami; one brother; two sisters; and by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. James Chang Ain Wong peacefully passed away on May 24, 2017 at St Francis Hospice. He was 99. James, known as Jimmy, was deeply committed to his wife Bernice and family. He was a people-first person and touched the lives of many through his dedication to community service. Jimmy will be remembered by those who knew him as a graduate of the Saint Louis College class of 1935, a dedicated parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, an enthusiastic Cubmaster of Pack 56, an avid game player, a trusted friend, and a person with a warm smile that brightened your day. James is survived by his wife Bernice, sons Dennis, Michael and Leo, six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. In honoring his request, services will be private.
