She was born on October 2, 1918 in Waipahu to Imata and Rakuyo Yamamoto, the eldest of eight children. She retired from Dole Corporation and Nishi Catering. 82, passed away on September 18 and is survived by his wife, Lolita Mikami and sisters, Marian Asato, Beatrice Mikami and brother Edward Mikami. Other survivors include a niece and nephew, Wendy Kawamoto and Dwight Asato. He is also survived by his stepdaughter, Noelle Stettner. He served in the Air Force as a computer programmer/mathematician and also for the State of Hawaii in the Department of Human Services for 30 years.
