88, a retired pharmacist who worked at Pali Longs Drugs and a US Marine veteran of the Korean War, peacefully passed away at his residence in Honolulu on October 23, 2017. He was born in Honolulu, graduated from McKinley HS, and attended Idaho State University on a full boxing scholarship. He is survived by his wife, Euphe; children: Steven (Sue) Machida, Jennifer (Richard) McKernan, Debbie (Karsten) Fisher, and Stuart (Cynthia Eto) Machida, and eight grandchildren. He was passionate about fishing until golfing took over, then enjoyed going to Las Vegas with his 4 children in his later years. Memorial Service at Makiki Christian Church, Sunday, November 19, 2017. Visitation at 4 pm, service at 5 pm. Reception to follow. Casual attire, no flowers please.
