Age 96, of Honolulu, passed away on August 12, 2017 at the Arcadia Retirement Residence. Born in Papaikou, Hawaii, she was a homemaker. Preceded in death by husband Jiroichi "Jay" Otani, she is survived by her daughter, Nalani (Farshid) Golesorkhi; granddaughter, Amireh Golesorkhi; sisters, Janice (Hisashi) Okamoto and Kay Koyama; numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6:00 p.m. Casual attire.
