92, of Honolulu, passed away on August 3, 2017. Born in Paia, Maui, he was a retired assistant dean for the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and a member of Company F, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; son, Alan; granddaughters, Lauren and Karen; brother, Hiroshi (Amy) and sister, Shigeko Nakasato. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 10:00 a.m. Committal service followed by inurnment at 1:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. No flowers. Casual attire.
