96, of Honolulu peacefully passed in his sleep on July 2, 2017. He was born in Pepeekeo. He proudly served in the 442nd RCT 552nd FAB and retired from civil service at Ft Shafter. He is survived by his children: Dean (May Huang) Fujiwara, Paula (Gary Skiles) Fujiwara and Jill (Troy) Aylor; 3 grand- children, 1 great grandchild and his siblings, Teruto Fujiwara (brother) and Tokie Nakano (sister). He was preceded in death by: Ann N Takaki (wife), Guy Y Fujiwara (son) and Harry I Fujihara (brother). Memorial service 10 am on Saturday (August 5) at Hosoi Mortuary. Burial 2 pm on Monday (August 7) at Punchbowl. No flowers.
