97, of Honolulu, passed away on February 16, 2017. Born in Honolulu, he retired from Meadow Gold and served in WWII with Headquarters Company, 100th Battalion, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He also worked for many years at Wholesale Unlimited, Inc. He is survived by his nieces, Betty S. Honma and Mae Hong, his grand nephews, grand nieces; great-grand nieces and nephews.
