95, of Honolulu, passed away on April 16, 2017. Born in Kalaoa-South Hilo, Hawaii, he was a retired HC&D heavy equipment mechanic and a long-time member of Lanakila Senior Center. He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughters, Aileen (Dwight) Tanabe, Amy (Richard) Bratt and Cheryl (Raymie) Miyasato; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Kazuto (Mary) and Yoshinori (Doris) Ojiri; sisters, Ginger Takata and Irene (Rev. Ralph) Honjo. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 4:00 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
