Mitsuo “Ted” Hamasu
Husband, father, brother, grand- father and great grandfather, passed away at home in Pearl City, surrounded by his family on June 25, 2017. He was a WW II veteran of the 100th Battalion and represented the Battalion in Washington, D.C. when the Nisei Veterans received the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, 7 children and their spouses, 3 grandchildren and their spouses, and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, July 7th at 12pm, with services starting at 1pm at Hosoi Mortuary. Burial will be on July 27, 2017 at 11:30am at Punchbowl. No flowers. Aloha Attire.

She is survived by her brother, George (Pearl) Maeda; sister, Betty Kotani; nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
