He is survived by brother, George, and by 7 nieces and nephews and 15 grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Shunichi and Shizuno; older brother, Toshiaki, and older sister, Shizue Ouye. Private services were held.

Preceded in death by husband, Keith, she is survived by her son, Lynden; daughters, Renee (Robert Jr.) Nakamoto and Tina Maekawa; three grandchildren; sisters, Amy (Raymond) Katayama, Lorraine (Miles) Yonemoto, Sharon (Robert) Oshiro and Annette Matsumoto. Preceded in death by husband, Henry Hisato Kuniyuki, she is survived by her son, David; daughter, Anne (Kris) Kanemoto; sister, Nobuko Yoshida; brother, Masatoshi Nakamura; grandchildren, Christina (Harry) sumida, Steven (Laura) Kanemoto, Nicole Kanemoto and Maisha Kuniyuki; great-grandchildren, Rhys and Cecelia Kanemoto and Lincoln Sumida. Mrs. Kuniyuki was a member of Jikoen Hongwanji; Aza Gushikawa Doshi Kai and Gushikawa Shijin Kai. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 11:00 a.m.

8, of Mililani, passed away on June 20, 2017. Born in Hilo and raised in Kona, he was a retired Jorgensen Steel Co. warehouseman. Ed is survived by his wife, Jean T. (Kanbe) Uemura; son, Sean (Jaimee Ann) Uemura; grandson, Seiji; brother, Ted (Jane) Uemura; sisters, Madeline Tanaka and Ellen Tanioka; numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 11:00 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
