Tom Tamotsu Takiguchi
Age 93, passed away at home peacefully on July 24, 2017. Born in Honolulu on July 8, 1924. Following McKinley High School, he served as a Staff Sergeant in WWII. A retiree of Meadow Gold Dairies where he worked 32 years as a dairyman. An avid golfer, he represented Hawaii in the USGA Public Links tournament in 1965. Lucky in life he enjoyed playing the slots in Las Vegas. A dedicated family man, his generosity and humor will be forever remembered by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nan who passed in 1992. He remarried Kinue who passed in 2017. Survived by son Guy, and daughter Ann (Marcos); four grandchildren Rachel (Arnold) Fukumoto, Roy Jr., Grant (Amy), Joshua and five great-grandchildren; sisters Masayo Motoshige, Joyce (James) Yamashiro, Gloria (John) Sur and Charlotte Fujita. Predeceased by siblings, Fusae, Tsuruye, Gladys, Andrew, Kenneth, Robert. A Celebration of Life at Hosoi Garden Mortuary on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 6 p.m. Visitation at 5 p.m. Aloha attire.

Amazing son of God, went home to Jesus on July 17, 2017. He was born on October 25, 1942 in Kohala, Hawaii. He was a retired Automotive Instructor at Honolulu Community College. Clifford is survived by his wife, Claire; son Ryan (Lani), hanai daughter Miriah Holden; mother Yuriko; brothers Thomas (Sue) and Eugene (Grace); and 2 granddaughters. Visitation at 5:00 p.m. followed by a service at 6:00 p.m. on August 17, 2017, at Hosoi Mortuary. Monetary gifts will be used to establish a scholarship in Clifford's name to further Christian education and carry out his desire for the next generation to know the Word of God.
