92, died on June 19, 2017, in Honolulu. She was born and raised in Wahiawa, where she witnessed the attack on Schofield Barracks/Wheeler Air Field on December 7, 1941. She retired from the Department of Education after teaching at Hickam and Aliamanu elementary schools. She and her late husband, Sadao, lived in Moanalua Gardens subdivision for over 50 years and were active in the Moanalua Gardens Community Association. She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Ken Takayama) and Lori (Craig Wallace) and granddaughter Anya Wallace. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. on October 15 (Sunday) at Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
