68, of Aiea, a waitress for Denny's Lewers, Waikiki, passed away on October 30, 2019 at Pali Momi Medical Center. She was born in Wahiawa. She is survived by her companion, David Jones; sons, Richard Ulibas and Rodney Beauchamp; sister, Imogene (Robert) Gonzales; and by grand- children, Linsey, Richard, Patrick-Lee, Michael-Lee, David-Lee, James-Lee, Jadeen-Lee, Maythias-Lee and Isabella-Lee. Visitation is at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The service begins at 4:00 p.m.

Marian Mits Michan Sasaki

Marian ("Mits" or "Michan") Sasaki, 82, of Pearl City, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2019 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Mits was born in Honolulu on April 29, 1937. She graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1955. She made and sustained many close friendships until her passing. She was married to Tetsuro Sasaki for 46 years and raised four sons; Lance Sasaki, Keith (Robin) Sasaki, Kevin (Veronica) Sasaki and Jeffery Sasaki. They were proud grandparents to seven grandchildren - Lenni and Meghan (Lance), Kaleena, Jesi and Shane (Keith), Kristyl (Kevin) and Justin (Jeff), and three great-grand- children Kelan, Zachary and Kaci (Lenni). Mits is survived by her sons and sister Jeanette (David) Maekawa of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tetsuro. Visitation 3PM to 4PM on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Memorial Service 4PM to 5PM. Casual attire, no flowers.
